We are at the very early stages of our fundraising efforts, and therefore we are not directly asking for any contributions at this moment. 

However, we really need your input in understanding what our members, curlers, friends, family and other partners might be willing to contribute to this project. 

The future of curling in Dayton depends on all of us, and your feedback is critital to our understanding of where we may have available resources to make this project happen, and where we may have shortcomings and need to explore additional options.

FAQ

Q: How Much Money are you looking to raise?

A: Currently we are projecting a fundraise need of around $250,000.  This should cover the upfront cost of purchasing a chiller, ice equipment and a modest build out in any space.  This money would not go to ongoing operational costs.

Q: What sort of ways can I financially contribute to the project?

A: Currently we are only looking for soft commitments via the survey below, but we are set up to accept direct donations as a 501(c)3 through The Dayton Foundation, and we also intend to offer a small interest bond offering for those who may be looking to have their money returned to them.  The details of a bond offering are still being worked out, but that option is available in the survey below.

Q: What sort of financial support does the club currently have?

A: At this time, between club resources, outside interested parties, and soft commitments from members, we are sitting at roughly $80,000, or a third of the way there before we have publicly announced our project!

Q: Is there any perk or incentive to donate to this project?

A: Yes!  We are working on a tier system to help reward those who contribute.  An example is below, though none of these are currently set in stone.  Please note that ANY amount is greatly appreciated!
